RDS obtains the UNEF quality seal for self supply

RDS has been awarded the quality seal for self-supply installers by the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF). This distinction supports our technical capacity and good practice in the design and execution of photovoltaic installations.

About UNEF

The Spanish Photovoltaic Union is the most important association in the photovoltaic solar sector in Spain. It has more than 640 member companies, which represent about 90% of the activity in this sector in Spain.

About this certificate

This seal has been created to ensure the quality of the sector. Self-supply is a booming sector within the energy transition, in which there is constant growth. However, the different procedures in each region slow down this development.

In order for the sector to develop in an orderly manner, it is absolutely necessary for the installations to be of proven quality. To verify this, these companies must be audited.

For this reason, UNEF has created its own certification system, with the aim of guaranteeing the quality of the sector.

About the certifiers

This quality seal is backed by two certifiers: CERE and CGS.

CERE is an independent body that carries out tests, simulations, certifications and inspections. In 2015, it was established as a Certification Body for Renewable Energies.

On the other hand, SGS is a worldwide benchmark company in terms of quality and integrity. This entity has inspection, verification, analysis and certification tasks.

How this seal is maintained

Once this certificate is obtained, the company will receive an annual audit to ensure that its status is still worthy of maintaining this certificate. At RDS, we work to remain at the forefront of the industry.
